| Nothing wrong with Christians, most of the time... Save it for the religion section... Lol, But I do think that they should have a rule against WANKERS like Rudd becoming PM, I mean seriously, there has to be SOMEONE in this country suited for the job who isn't sixty five or a dickhead... | |

| Think about it. I rekon Rudd is the lesser of two evils, it's either him or these Liberal dickheads who seem to have no idea what there doing whatsoever. ANNNd Rudd seems to handing out money like there's no tomorrow. Seriously tho, all politicians are the same. They get elected on all these grand promises (I'm STILL waiting for my computer from Rudd ), but as soon as they are elected, they don't do any of it, and they do all the shit nobody else wants them to do 'cause we cant kick 'em out for another four years. Lying, manipulative, two-faced arseholes, the lot of them. Still, Bush was kicked out, and we don't have to put up with evil Johnny-Eyebrows anymore, maybe theres hope for the political system after all. | |

| They are working on that, and to rudds credit he didn't say that every student at the time of his statement would have a laptop, just that he would get every school child to own a laptop
My old primary school have got macbooks in for all the year 4s-7s and a few others are renting them out. My school at the moment has laptops for all years 5-12. Theyre getting it done but very slowly.
But then there's abott who's said bugger all about the libs policies or plans, they're just capitalising on all the negative response rudd is getting at the moment. And yeah, announcing that new mining tax so close to the election was a real dumbshit move

| Honestly, I never expect them to go through with their "promises". I'll just vote for the one with most hair. I seriously will, like no joke. | |

| I think Rudd is a dickhead who has good ideals but doesn't realise how terrible the consequences of this do good ideas are. Sure preventing kiddies from looking up porn is a great idea. The consequences of that "mutilating" (nice word david) the internet obviously out weighs it.
Prettysure everyone Prime Minister we have is we're gonna hate and call them dickheads because they can't keep their promises. But yeah he's a bit of a willyhead. Jonnie cared more about the economy not dieing and dooming us all then protecting poor innocent kiddies from watching porn on the net.

| People like you shouldn't be allowed to have opinions on things they don't understand. I couldn't find a specific article about the incident, but this one makes reference to it. The Howard government spent $84 million on a filter that was bypassed within an hour of its release. The only reason Howard's government was economically stable, is becuase Australia's oil & gas industry has been thriving for the last decade or so. And hopefully you haven't forgotten that the former government's campaign budget went far beyond the budget, especially when the campaign was drawring to a close and Howard was pushing out advertisments frantically trying to keep support. No party or government is perfect, and it's impossible to do be perfect, especially when the publics opinions are so heavily and falsely skewed. Also, just so you're clear about the filter policies from both major parties, Abbot is a very right winged social conservative, so the coalition will almost definitely implement a compulsory filter. And they also plan to scrap the NBN, which makes the whole situation even shittier. | |
