Ok, this the console fan boy thread.
Me being a Playstation fan boy has the following to say;
Xbox fanboys, enjoy paying for your online gaming?
Wii fan boys, enjoy just having an overall shit console?

Playstation fan boy here agrees with above comment. I laugh at having to pay for online pay. I DO have a Wii though, and it can be fun to play when you have alo of friends over, it's more of a party console.

Consoles are for noobs, PCs are for people who actually like to be able to turn around in less then 3 seconds, press more then 4 buttons at a time and play real games other then Halo, Grand Theft Auto or Hello Kitty which are all designed for 12 year olds.

With consoles we don't have to;

A) Install new hardware every time a new generation game comes out

and

B) We can be sure that it is going to work. The main reason some games don't work is because hardware goes out of date which of course brings us back to point A. With consoles we only have to buy it once.

Had you not lost most of your brain cells and/or pubic hair from playing gay kiddy games with limited controls you would have probably worked out by now that BEING able to upgrade your system is actually a good thing.

It means that when a new, good, high end game comes out we CAN upgrade and play it to it's maximum settings.

Where as consoles can't run high end games on the maximum graphics. Ever seen Direct X 10 Crysis on high def res.

Seriously who the hell wants to upgrade every time a new game comes out? It’s just wasted money, man. I rather just go and buy the game and play it without having to worry about any other shit.
And who the hell cares if you can play Crysis on full settings. A lot of people who only play PC's can't do that anyway.
I do agree with your RTS statement though, its a genre that just wasn't made for consoles. Doesn't mean all console games are crap though.

PC is the way of the future, Console's are PC's little bitch, the only reason that console's are still existant and still being edited is because societies drop outs and 12 year old control a substantial proportion of the economy. where ever there is money there is Corparate Muts trying to benefit from every dollar.

Prettysure you're exagerating. A $700 custom built rig can run all games to date on max high and will do for a while. Maybe updating in a years time for a $200 graphics card bringing you back up to running things on max high. Instead of what $600 for a Xbox 360/PS3 which don't support anti aliasing, direct X 10, and High def res. which is why consoles don't have to be updated. Because they never ran games on full high to begin with.

Not saying that games are all about graphics but it's definetly a plus

My main hate for consoles is the controls and how they ruin great PC games because when a sequel or such is designed for both PC/Consoles are dumbed down in order to appeal to the console gamer and the controls/functionality. Big example of this is Call of Duty 1. After that Cod2 and the rest of the series were designed for Console players and as a result were simplified and made easier. Such as dumb as fuck things that overall subtract from the quality and competitive potential like recharging health, the removal of lean, lower lethality etc etc.

It's happened to so many great PC titles such as the Rainbow 6 series (Vegas... , Supreme Commander etc.

Bottom line is consoles are designed for casual gamer kids whilst PCs are designed for people who actually enjoy gaming to the fullest potential.

Actually PS3's do support Direct X 10 and High def Res (1080p) which came with the console when it was released in 2006. How many computers can you say came with HD pre built in 2006?

PCs go way over 1080p so long as you have a good enough monitor which most of the time people don't. Without this, anti aliasing and antitrophic filtering etc DX10 doesn't do shit.

Installing an OS on a PS3 would fail, how about you save up all your mummy loves me money and just buy a fucking PC and have all the advantages. The reason why consoles are able to almost keep up with PCs dispite having shit hardware in comparison and the cheap cost is because none of the processing and ram etc is drained into the OS and all goes into the game, which means should you install an OS it would run like shit and fail. Dunno about PS3 but Xbox 360 has like a 2

They are beginning to combine Unreal Tournament 3 multiplayer for PC with Xbox live, they were going to do it with halo 3 but then they stopped when they came to the conclusion that console players would be too disadvantaged because of the inferior controls. "oooh i can just plug in a keyboard and mouse into my PS3" or you could just buy a PC.

PCs can just do so much more then consoles can. Consoles can't download mods, patches, community DLC, cracks and fixes, run dedicated servers etc for your games. Not that console kids/fags actually care because they're so uneducated about the capacity, potentiol and high standards of gaming. Not even mentioning the benefits outside of that ^_^
