I personally hate the user unfriendly interface, but that's just me.

yeah it really only takes a little while to get used to. but thats what people always say when something new comes out, so it is nothing new

I use Vista but I have always liked Windows XP for some reason.

Thread's a few days old, but I've used Vista only a few times (my mum uses it) and the only improvements I see are the graphics and a couple of nice shortcuts. I find it impossible to find anything though - file sharing on XP for example just takes a couple of mouse clicks; with Vista, there's a whole security thing you need exceptions for, and in the end I gave up. Maybe it's because my back hurt and I wanted to go to bed, but I just couldn't do it.

I use Windowblinds and Rainmeter to get the Vista look whilst sticking to the XP I know. I have to agree though, Vista looks like one of those things that just needs getting used to. I've heard it doesn't handle the games side of things well though, is that true?

I've had no trouble with the games since I installed the first service pack.

Personally, I found that Windows Vista is not very good. By replacing the familiar icons such as 'File' 'Edit' etc., and replacing them with on-screen tabs, it just confuses people. Not only did they change everything around, but they made it more complicated to do the simple things. I dislike this, as they didn't change it for the better, they just changed it.
